Loved our short stay

We simply loved our short stay at Anna's beach house Persawr y Mor, which has an enviable position right on the seafront at Tywyn. (The sister house Awel y Mor is right next door, so shares the same outlook and features). The views from the lounge, balcony, and double bedroom at the front of the house are amazing as you are looking right onto the breaking waves on the beach outside. We were lucky to get some nice sunsets during our stay, so got glorious views from the balcony, with the whole of the distant LLyn Peninsular silouetted against the glowing red sky. As the house is clevery built "upside down" you can also walk straight out of your bedroom onto the patio overlooking the sea, and a small gate gives access onto the promonade and the beach. This is perfect for walks or cycling at any time, as the promenade is also lit with a few streetlamps at night. The kitchen and two-bunk bedroom to the rear have views to the mountains behind, and the whole house is thoughtfully decorated to give a nice beach-house feel, perfect for the location.

Tywyn is also a lovely base for a holiday, being big enough to have a Co-op, Spar, and takeaways in the village all just 5-10 minutes walk away, so you don't even have to move the car. The roads in and out of Tywyn are a bit slow, but the views are lovely so the trip is always enjoyable. Don't miss lovely Dolgoch falls, just a short drive up the valley (where you can also have a lovely lunch overlooking the lake at Tal y Lyn, or climb Crib Goch if you are feeling very fit!). We also took our bikes on the train from Tywyn Station to Barmouth so we could ride the amazing Mawddach Trail, which runs for just under 10 miles from Barmouth to Dolgellau on a flat disused railway line (so easy family cycling). The path is slightly raised and gives stunning views across the Mawddach Estuary.

Also grateful to our host Anna for great communication via email and instructions throughout, which all made for a smooth and relaxing holiday from start to finish. We loved her beach house, and will certainly be returning in future, as well as recommending to all our friends and family.

Had a lovely long weekend here, just as the restrictions were lifted

The house was very clean on arrival, with clear instructions to keep up with the covid regulations.
Everything that we needed for cooking/cleaning was provided.
Good WiFi (the kids were happy!)
The view was amazing, so nice to wake up and see the sea every morning, I look forward to staying here again in the future.

I have stayed previously in the beach house and these I would highly recommend as well.

A lovely stay in this very comfortable and well-equipped apartment, right on the sea front and with glorious views over the bay from both the living room and the bedroom - with balcony. Within easy walking distance of the town. Weather was excellent and I had great walks up Cader Idris, Cnicht and Corlan Fraith. Reasonably priced as well.

Awel y Mor is a lovely place to stay

Awel y Mor is a lovely place to stay and has spectacular views of the sea which is just a stone's throw away from the back garden. Our stay was most enjoyable and everything was just right in this stylish and modern house. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you could want, the bathroom with a great shower over the bath, two bedrooms with really comfy beds (one at the back and one at the front) and a lovely living room with that wonderful view of the sea. It was lovely to wake up to those sea views and the sound of the waves. We will definitely be coming back to stay, thanks for everything Anna, you have a heavenly house to be proud of!
